This is your chance to get hands-on and fly a helicopter. Your experience will start with a short classroom briefing on the techniques involved in controlling the R44, then it is your turn to show the instructor what you have learned during a practical lesson of 15 minutes.
This experience makes a great gift for anyone with a real sense of adventure! Don’t worry though the aircraft is fully dual controlled and you can be as much or as little ‘hands-on’ as you feel comfortable with, so for those who are a little more reserved, sit back and enjoy the ride while your instructor takes the controls.
The R44 is larger than the R22 and provides a great alternative for the slightly taller or heavier student.
On completion of the flight, you will be presented with a certificate signed by your instructor. -

Our best selling tour combines both natural beauty and history. The flight of approximately 30 minutes departs from The Moorlands pub and heads north-west to follow the route of 617 squadron down the Derwent Valley and over the twin dams. The flight then turns back South taking in other spectacular aerial sights over the Peak District including Chatsworth House.
