TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking. If you have paid by credit/debit card we will post an invoice along with your voucher. Cheques will need to be cleared before invoice and voucher are issued.
2. Refunds & Transfers
You have the right to return any voucher within 7 days from the date of issue in return for a full refund less administration fee of £20. After 7 days from issue all vouchers are fully non-refundable.
Vouchers may be transferred free of charge to a different name, please inform us upon booking should you wish to make any amendments.
3. Voucher Expiry
All vouchers are valid for 12 months. We do advise that you book your experience as soon as possible, if you haven’t taken your flight within the 12 months since issue your voucher will be void.
4. Restrictions
Trial Lessons
You must not exceed the following aircraft height and weight limits:
Robinson R22 – Height 6’ 3’’ Weight 17 Stone
Robinson R44 – Height 6’6’’ Weight 21 Stone
We recommend trial lesson recipients are at least 16 years of age.
Pleasure Flights
You must not exceed the following aircraft height and weight limits:
Height 6’6’’ Weight 15 Stone – Please contact us on 01664 823846 if over 15 Stone.
There is no upper or lower age limit for pleasure flight however we recommend that children under 12 are accompanied by an adult.
For all flights you must notify us in advance of any medical condition that you feel may effect the participation in your flight experience, if you are unsure please consult your GP.
We reserve the right to refuse your participation in any flight should we feel that your own safety or the safety of others may be endangered i.e being under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
5. Booking & Availability
All flights are offered subject to availability and weather conditions on the day. If you have a specific date you would like to fly, please book well in advance to avoid disappointment. We are unable to take provisional reservations.
We reserve the right to make amendments to your booking, possibly at short notice due to lack of booking numbers, safety, technical problems or any other factors beyond our control, in this instance we will endeavour to re-schedule your flight as soon as possible.
6. Booking Cancellation
Once you have booked your flight and been allocated a time, you have the right to cancel or re-arrange no later than 72 hours before the flight.
Any flights cancelled under 72 hours of your allocated time will be lost apart from in extreme circumstances, these will be at the discretion of the management.
7. Event Duration
All flight times and routes are approximate, slight variations may occur depending on the conditions on the day.
8. Weather
We reserve the right to cancel any flight due to adverse weather conditions that would affect your safety. We will endeavour to re-schedule the flight as soon as possible.
If you are unsure about weather conditions on the day, please call in advance and we will advise you if the flight will be taking place.
9. Expenses
Should we need to cancel your flight due to adverse weather conditions or any aircraft serviceability issues, Central Helicopters cannot be held responsible for any out of pocket expenses incurred i.e travel & accommodation.
10. Check in & Late Arrival
We would ask that you check in no later than 30 minutes before the start of your scheduled flight experience.
If, for any reason, you will be late please call us with as much notice as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you but this cannot be guaranteed. Especially with pleasure flights the seat cost is formulated on the aircraft being full so under any circumstances if you are late your flight may be lost, no refund will be issued and you will be unable to re-schedule.
